Siroi Maritime Academy is one of the finest and most successful Merchant Navy Training institute in India. The Academy Selection Board of Siroi Maritime Academy requires all the candidates to apply online through our website using appropriate e-mail id. There will be no entrance test for the selection of the candidates; they will be shortlisted on the basis of their application and mentioned qualification. Candidates will receive a call letter on their e-mail ids, mentioning their reporting date and other related information. Candidates are requested to confirm the reporting date over the phone if not mentioned in the call letter.
Following are the documents required during the submission of the admission form:
- Photocopies of 10th Standard or higher passed certificate
- Photocopy of Voter ID/ Driving License or any other identity proof
- Birth Certificate
- Residence Proof
- Three passport sized colour photographs with name of candidate written on the reverse. The background should be plain and photograph should be in formal/simple dress
- Passport, candidates must apply for a passport immediately, in case they do not have
All the selected candidates are required to bring all their documents in original and photocopies of the same during the joining. Photocopies of all the documents should be enclosed in an envelope. Candidates are also required to bring two large sized self-addressed envelopes with correct pin code and contact numbers written on them.
Call letter doesn’t ensure the admission to the institute; academy reserves all the rights to admission. Candidature can be cancelled if found guilty of submitting fraudulent documents or if suffering from any sort of mental or physical illness including the lack of understanding of human behavior and Hindi or English languages. Admission procedure completes only after the payment of course fees. In case you fail to make the payment within the time frame, the seat will be allocated to the candidate in the waiting list.
